Data Engineer - Cardiff

Role: Data Engineer X2

Location: Cardiff (Remote until at least next year)

Salary and Benefits: £35,000 - £55,000 + Share options, flexible working, healthcare for you and family, pension contributions, allocated days for personal training and development, 25 days hols (plus bank holidays), regular company/team events & more!

Are you an experienced Data Engineer / Database Developer looking for your next exciting challenge?

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of our established clients who have opened a brand-new office in Cardiff. They have had huge success within their Bristol branch and after winning multiple contracts across South Wales in a variety of sectors, they are setting up a whole new team

The progression opportunities are huge as the Data Team grows, so will your career!

You'll be working with clients to deploy data pipelines and processes in a production-safe manner, using the latest technologies. You will be working with the data team in London, some of the brightest and best in the industry on some of the most exciting digital programmes around.

Essential:

- Python coding skills
- SQL coding, experience working on Data Pipelines (including pipeline builds)

- Azure or AWS experience, including building pipelines from on-premise environments

They are still Business as usual and have software in place in order to conduct all interviews via video links and send your hardware to your home and get you started remotely!

As expected, everything is fully remote at the moment (interview, onboarding, working etc), and will stay fully remote until the beginning of next year. However, when things can get back to normal, you will be expected to travel to the offices in Cardiff and potentially client sites in South Wales (all expenses paid)
