Data Engineer (Kafka & Data Streaming)

Are you a Big Data Engineer with strong skills in data streaming working with Kafka, MongoDB and Snowflake? If so I'd like to hear from you!

I'm working with a Wales-based team who are looking to introduce the newest technologies as part of a massive transformation from the ground up. Amongst that is a new Data Streaming project, to provide real-time analytics.

The ideal candidate will have good commercial experience across the following:

• Data streaming utilising Kafka
• Experience working with MongoDB databases
• Good ETL background using technologies like SSIS, Glue, Azure Data Factory etc.
• Good experience / understanding of Snowflake Schemas
• Excellent senior stakeholder skills (you'll be working closely with technical and non-technical staff)

It'll be an initial 3-month engagement paying up to £550 per day Outside IR35. It's a remote role but will require the candidate to be on site once per week once Covid restrictions lift
