Data Scientist - Defence - MAchine Learning - Tewkesbury - £65000

The Defence is incorporating Machine Learning more and more everyday, from Battle field decision making to analysing data from the field.

This role as Data Scientist crosses both Cyber Security & Electronic Warfare domains the business concentrates on. It'll require you to implement and analyse machine learning models, be technical authority for data analytics projects and help drive BIDs for funded research projects.

It bridges the gap nicely between hands on work, managing teams of Junior Data Scientists and acting as a point of contact for customers.

As far as loving what you do goes, the opportunity to have a broad focus on multiple frameworks and tools is certainly available; They use Tensorflow, keras, Matlab, Python and C/C++.

Their focus is also non-offensive defence products that save lives all around the world. They offer a salary up to £65,000 with a bonus, 5% non-contributory pension & Flexible working hours on top!

Skills Needed:

• Qualified with an Engineering/Physics/Maths Degree
• Proven commercial experience in research & development.
• C/C++, Python
• Machine Learning (Tensorflow, Keras etc)
• Data analysis
• Eligibility for SC
