An expanding business in Peterborough are urgently seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join their growing team as they continue to diversify into new markets.

This company are a well-established business that have been operating for over 30 years and have recently reached a headcount of 50 staff. They are aiming to continue growing at this trajectory as they broaden their capabilities into new markets such as Pharmaceuticals and Hazardous Substances.

This role is more than just a standard Design Engineer, as it is a chance to get stuck in, engaging with key clients, understanding specialist requirements, through to design, commissioning and installation. If you enjoy the responsibility that is involved in the lifecycle management of the projects then this opportunity could be perfect for you!

Key skills required:

• Structural design using ANSYS
• Experienced in the design of food processing systems
• DSEAR Compliance
• Solidworks

Due to the nature of this role, you will need a full UK driving licence to make necessary occasional customer site visits.

In return, my client ore offering a generous package of £40,000 - £45.000 salary, an 8% non-contributory pension scheme (after successful completion of probationary period) plus overtime.
