Job Overview: iO Associates is currently partnered with a company focusing on manufacturing special machinery that is looking for a skilled Development Engineer to join our growing team.
You'll be responsible for 3D designing and developing mechanical modules using AutoDesk Inventor and Fusion360. As the go-to person for all things mechanical, you'll work closely with their team to ensure high standards of precision and quality in every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3D Design: Develop detailed 3D designs for mechanical modules using AutoDesk Inventor and Fusion360, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specs.
- Module Management: Serve as the main point of contact for mechanical modules, handling technical issues and ensuring projects run smoothly.
- Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with other project components, ensuring everything works seamlessly together.
- Quality Assurance: Keep a sharp focus on precision and quality of design, and cleanliness in your designs, paying close attention to material selection and durability.
- Process Improvement: Look for ways to improve design processes and methods, helping to push our mechanical engineering capabilities forward.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Solid experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in special projects, with a hands-on approach to design and development.
- Proficient in AutoDesk Inventor and Fusion360, with a strong grasp of mechanical principles and industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when it comes to precision, cleanliness, and material selection in design work.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in the design and development of semiconductor equipment is a strong plus.
- Knowledge or experience in fluidics would be an advantage.
