Development Manager - .Net Team - New Global Projects

We're looking for someone to get heavily involved in the global strategic direction of a FinTech's newly signed off projects, while leading the Bristol team of 15 developers.

If you enjoy challenging others to help them find innovative solutions, we'd love to hear from you. Leading the team with positivity through the challenges that naturally arise when working through new projects is what this role will be all about!

How to approach these new global project is still in discussion so we're looking for someone who wants to take control of the strategic direction of them, along with the hiring process to grow the team to the right size.

Company

They're a modern, well-established FinTech with offices around the world, and who recently made one of the largest acquisitions in its 40 years of operation.

They work on both legacy and new applications, with recent Azure migrations being their main focus.

They have a fantastic work culture built on the commitment that people get promoted when they earn it, rather than waiting for a higher-up to leave.

Their offices have a campus-feel to them, with cafes & gyms to enhance the working week.

They're flexible with work hours, and have long-term remote options available.

You

A hands-on tech background is a must - though open to that being a .Net/Java/JavaScript background. This role is not hands-on but an understanding of 'the trenches' is vital.

If you're a Team Lead looking for a fresh challenge & step up, or a senior with solid managerial experience - we're keen to hear from you.

Summary

Role: Development Manager

Location: Bristol (Remote options 3 days a week)

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + great benefits
