Director of Security Architecture

Director of Security Architecture - Remote / Wiltshire - £1000 a day - 6-Month Contract

iO Associates are currently looking for a Director of Security Architecture to join my client for an intial 6-month contract role (inside IR35) offering up to £1000 a day for an immediate start. The client is happy for the successful candidate to work remotely but you will need to visit to the client's offices occasionally - you must be based in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Security Architect and ideally have recent experience as a Director or Head of Security. You're going to be working for a digital transformation consultancy who is growing at an excessive rate. You'll ben joining at a time where this client is opening up new offices and branches across the UK in which you'll be a massive part of this expansion.

You must have experience with the following:

• Bring security and technology to life in a meaningful way to executive business stakeholders
• Develop insightful and meaningful security strategies and roadmaps
• Have excellent awareness of the security product landscape and how capabilities fit business use cases
• Have the ability to use expertise to inform and assure business and technology programmes with regard to their security considerations (eg. new product development, automated manufacturing plants)
• Be in tune with the global cyber threat landscape, and the immediate and strategic steps required to protect critical information assets
• Have a strong understanding of the business resilience and operations landscape and the relevant security strategies (in areas such as OT)
• Focus on security strategy and it's practical application and implementation, rather than theoretical architectural frameworks
