.Net Software Engineer - Farnborough - £55,000-£65,000

iO Associates have partnered up with a phenomenally modern company looking for a software engineer with strong .Net and .Net Core development experience.

Role Overview:

The role is with a scrum team which are predominantly working on a Cloud SAAS product. They're always looking at new ways to achieve great things, and every 3 months you'll have a full working week just to focus on your own personal development of technical knowledge and new trends, alongside a Pluralsight subscription, which they'll encourage you to apply to the products you work on.

You'll be designing and developing quality software, working through the software development lifecycle, from specification through implementation and testing, to final deployment and ongoing maintenance.

They pride themselves on a scrum-team atmosphere where everyone has the equal opportunity to put forward their own ideas, contribute to the improvements and architecture of the solution, and shape the direction of the product you would be working on.

A key skill they're looking for is experience with .Net Core, and any Cloud experience would be extremely beneficial.

Location: Farnborough

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

Essential Skills:

- C# / .Net / .Net Core

-Asynchronous design patterns

-Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, using techniques such as TDD, BDD, CI/CD

Desirable:

• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Unit Testing Frameworks (e.g. Moq, NUint)
• Azure
• Kubernetes
• Docker
• Scripting using PowerShell and Bash
