Electrical Commissioning Manager

We are currently looking for a Commissioning Manager (Electronic Security Systems) to join a leading client of ours in the Defence/Nuclear sector. They are a leading infrastructure solutions provider driving innovation across transportation, energy, water, and defence sectors.

Within this role you will join a major Nuclear Defence project in Berkshire, supporting delivery on the project. This is a rare chance to work on one of the UK's most complex and high-profile projects, overseeing the commissioning of specialist equipment, building services, and control systems.

**Please note, this role requires SC Clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will lead electrical commissioning for systems including BMS, HVAC, and process plant equipment.
  • Oversee production, review, and approval of all electrical and BMS commissioning documentation.
  • Manage and resolve test failures to ensure system compliance and functionality.
  • Deliver regular updates on commissioning progress to key stakeholders.
  • Control changes to commissioning schedules, resources, and forecasts for project alignment.

Key skills:

  • Active SC (Security Clearance).
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Low Voltage Electrical Distribution design.
  • Control System design.
  • Building Services & Management system design.
  • Earthing & Lightning design.
  • Knowledge of safety standards (IEC 61508, 61511, 61513).
