Job Opportunity: Electrical Engineer/Mechatronics Engineer - Visual Inspection Techniques
Location: Bavaria, Germany - Erlangen
Your Missions:

• Develop and maintain visual inspection equipment, including their controls and recording systems.
• Manage projects for the development, procurement, testing, and qualification of new systems.
• Create and update process descriptions and ensure quality assurance of visual inspection results in accordance with applicable regulations and requirements for VT level 3.
• Conduct service assignments in nuclear power plants worldwide, especially during the commissioning of new facilities.
• Instruct personnel in maintaining and repairing inspection equipment.
• Train fuel assembly service personnel in the use and adjustment of video and lighting systems.
• Track the market for new techniques.
• Coordinate with comparable departments within the organization.

You Are:

• Educated to degree level in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field. Alternatively, you have an apprenticeship or technical training in these areas with relevant professional experience.
• Certified for visual inspection according to DIN EN ISO 9712 VT3.
• Experienced in handling radiation-resistant tube cameras and digital video cameras.
• Medically suitable according to NDT vision test.
• Willingness to travel
