Job Title: Electrical Site Engineer

Location: Hybrid (Must be happy to travel)

Salary: £45k - £60k (Depending on Experience)

IO Associates is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer for a provider of energy solutions that is committed to developing, constructing, managing, and running low-carbon energy projects with efficiency. They work with a wide range of clients to help decarbonise their buildings and contribute to the UK's Net Zero ambitions, from hospitals and universities to residential developments and industrial complexes.

You will be crucial to completing projects on schedule, under budget, and in accordance with the highest safety requirements as an electrical engineer.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Electrical engineering HND/Degree.
  • Certification for the 18th Edition.
  • SMSTS or a comparable system.
  • ECS/CSCS Card.
  • Proven engineering experience working on-site in the building services sector.
  • Knowledge of both lv and hv systems.
  • Strong design skills and familiarity with BMS/PLCS.
  • The capacity to generate io schedules and P&IDS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive drawings for construction, as-built documents, and quotations.
  • Provide thorough specs that can be used for purchasing and requesting quotes.
  • Analyse factory acceptance testing and interpret electrical drawings.
  • According to national standards, electrical controls should be designed, wired, tested, and installed.
  • Oversee the commissioning and installation of industrial systems to guarantee a smooth integration.
  • Compose thorough functional specifications and other control system documentation.
