I'm working with a well-established video and audio technology company based just to the east of Oxford.
The company are around 30 employees and have been supplying government and emergency services for the past 20 years. They have been working at the cutting edge of their field since the turn of the millennium and currently have a growing engineering team looking to continue the growth of the company and the technology offering.
This position is fresh off the press and will be joining the 6 person strong software team who

They are looking for enthusiasm and a willingness to take on new challenges and learn from some experienced heads in the business. The company will give you the opportunity to work on the following technology:

• Real time operating systems
• Embedded Linux
• Video and audio processing and compression
• Video streaming and networking

Experience in these technologies is by no means essential, as stated above, they are more interested in candidates who are keen to take on new challenges, all they ask as essential is below:

• Programming in C/C++ embedded software
• Some experience with real time systems or device driver development
• Rational and strong approach to debugging.
• An appreciation/understanding of basic electronics practices.
