Embedded Software Engineer

Cardiff - 2/3 days remote per week.

£45,000

Based in the outskirts of Cardiff is the R&D facility of a truly extraordinary engineering company. This particular team develop medical devices that have proven to improve and save countless lives.

They have had a brilliant few years, and their products are going from strength to strength. As a result, they need a few new talented engineers to join the team to keep the developments going. The team spans embedded software and electronics and currently is a team of 7 engineers.

This role is first and foremost a design and development position, it offers the opportunity to be a part of future developments and not just a position to thrash out documentation without being a key part of product developments.

For this embedded software engineer position, they are looking for the following key experiences:

• Real time embedded systems
• Experience working in highly regulated environments, ideally medical devices.
• An appreciation/understanding of electronics

They are happy for engineers to work two or three days remotely per week, during very busy periods this may ramp up to five days on site.
