Job Title: Ergonomics Specialist

Join a leading UK manufacturing organisation as an Ergonomics Specialist, supporting improvements in workplace safety, productivity, and human-centred design. You'll work closely with engineering, operations, and safety teams to optimise how people interact with tools, equipment, and processes.
What You'll Do
- Analyse assembly and installation tasks to identify ergonomic risks
- Provide recommendations to improve workstations, tooling, and processes
- Support strategic ergonomic risk-reduction plans for the site
- Collaborate with engineering, H&S, and operations teams to embed best practice
- Ensure compliance with relevant ergonomics standards and regulations
About You
- Degree in Ergonomics / Human Factors or related discipline
- Working towards or holding recognised professional accreditation (e.g., CIEHF)
- Strong understanding of biomechanics, work physiology, and cognitive behaviour
- Experienced in workplace ergonomic assessments and risk mitigation
- Excellent communication, report writing, and analytical skills
