EU Supply Manager

My client, well known FMCG business are looking for a European Supply Manager to joining the team at their world class manufacturing facilities in Bristol. The site has had some major investment in the recent years and after winning some new business they are looking to add additional lines and develop the site even further. This is where this role comes in.

As Supply Manager, you will be reporting into the newly appointed Head of S&OP and will have 4 direct reports yourself. You will have overall responsibility for the European supply planning function including regional supply planning and scheduling aimed at optimising production, supply & inventory plans in line with the relevant KPIs. On a day to day basis you will be ensuring production schedules are in place and you will be maintaining the line and change over matrix to reflect the dynamic machinery and product requirements. The role also involve a strong element of capacity planning and outlining the planning parameters in line with the business strategy.

To be successful in this role you need the foresight, charisma and leadership skills to develop the S&OP team and get them performing to the same level as other departments within the business.

You will also need to have:

• Experience of FMCG supply chain planning & scheduling
• Management of teams and functions
• Highly computer literate, especially Excel
• Experience of manufacturing planning, S&OP and MRP-II & ERP environments
• Degree Qualified
• Planning and Supply Chain Qualified - APICs or similar
