Exercise & Event IT Technical Support

Location: On-site in Brunssum, Netherlands (occasional travel within NATO boundaries)
Duration: 12-month base with annual extensions(up to 3 years) based on deliverables)

About the Opportunity

We are supporting a major NATO programme at the NCI Agency in Brunssum, providing hands-on IT technical support for large-scale military exercises and operations.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth communication, system readiness, and IT reliability during key NATO exercises across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver full lifecycle IT support during NATO exercises and events, from setup to teardown.
Image, configure, transport, install, and maintain CIS (Communication & Information Systems) equipment.
Provide on-site 1st-line troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, phones, and network connections.
Coordinate with NATO staff to ensure system functionality and readiness.
Complete asset handling, documentation, and reporting in accordance with NATO procedures.

What We're Looking For

3+ years' experience in IT technical support or administration.
Background working in ICT/CIS environments (hardware, software, user support).
Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, or similar deployment tools.
Understanding of ITIL processes (incident, change, asset management).
Hands-on experience with desktop/laptop imaging, installation, and troubleshooting.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
NATO Secret security clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional certifications are an advantage.
