Exercise & Event IT Technical Support
Location: On-site in Brunssum, Netherlands (occasional travel within NATO boundaries)
Duration: 12-month base with annual extensions(up to 3 years) based on deliverables)
About the Opportunity
We are supporting a major NATO programme at the NCI Agency in Brunssum, providing hands-on IT technical support for large-scale military exercises and operations.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth communication, system readiness, and IT reliability during key NATO exercises across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver full lifecycle IT support during NATO exercises and events, from setup to teardown.
- Image, configure, transport, install, and maintain CIS (Communication & Information Systems) equipment.
- Provide on-site 1st-line troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, phones, and network connections.
- Coordinate with NATO staff to ensure system functionality and readiness.
- Complete asset handling, documentation, and reporting in accordance with NATO procedures.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years' experience in IT technical support or administration.
- Background working in ICT/CIS environments (hardware, software, user support).
- Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, or similar deployment tools.
- Understanding of ITIL processes (incident, change, asset management).
- Hands-on experience with desktop/laptop imaging, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- NATO Secret security clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional certifications are an advantage.
