iO Associates are delighted to be supporting a growing healthcare technology company in their search for an Executive Assistant to the Commercial Director. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to blend high-level administrative support with valuable exposure to business strategy and commercial operations.

This is a unique role, ideally suited to someone who is currently studying (or has recently completed) a Master's in Business Management, MBA or related field and who's keen to step into a trusted position at the heart of a growing business.

You'll be the go-to person for the Commercial Director, ensuring their time is spent on high-impact areas while also sitting in on senior meetings, supporting key projects, and learning how strategic decisions are made. It's a real springboard for someone looking to build a long-term career in commercial or operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality diary and inbox management
  • Prepare reports, presentations and business documents
  • Join senior-level meetings and support with note taking and follow-up actions
  • Help coordinate internal projects across commercial, finance and operations
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Commercial Director, both internally and externally
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

What we're looking for:

  • Currently studying or recently completed a Master's or MBA (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant (desirable)
  • Highly organised with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Interested in business operations, commercial growth and strategy
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and handling confidential information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

What's in it for you?

  • A genuine career-development opportunity with exposure to high-level business operations
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Matched pension contributions (up to 5%)
  • Private healthcare options
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Be part of a mission-led company making a real impact

If you're ambitious, detail-driven and ready to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you!

The role requires occasional travel to the East Midlands area, so please bear this in mind when submitting your application.
