Facilities Manager

iO Associates have partnered up with a global force within the manufacturing industry. They operate in over 40 different countries and have continued their relentless growth despite the challenges presented by Covid and its implications. They are on the lookout for a facilities manager at their state-of-the-art facility based in Eastbourne, maintaining the site facilities and plant.

In this role you will make sure that the site complies with the latest standards where appropriate and ensuring that safety standards and maintained within the environment. Safety will also be important whilst making sure that maintenance and project work is planned and implemented on a routine basis.

Furthermore, you will be a pivotal figure in making sure there is efficient and cost-effective use of resources and identifying key external partners and building relationships with them.

Further duties you will undertake:

  • Review and re-negotiate contracts annually including energy, security, waste, catering, and cleaning,
  • Ensure production breakdowns are responded to in a timely and appropriate manner to enable site to meet delivery commitments
  • Ensure a replacement programme is in place to replace End of life and non-economic site facilities
  • Front desk and administration to meet site and visitors needs
  • Carry out annual appraisals and identify development needs for all staff

Experience:

  • Previous experience of running a maintenance department
  • Working knowledge of using scheduling tools
  • Project management experience

In return for all of this you will receive a salary of between £37.5K and £45K dependant on experience. You will also receive:

  • Pension with an employer contribution up to 8%
