📍 Location: Bochum, Germany. Frequent travel to customer sites (throughout Germany in 2026 and globally from 2027 onwards)

Our client is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to join their team in Bochum. This is a unique opportunity to become a key figure in the international rollout of high-precision tools, with long-term career prospects across Europe, Asia, and the US.

🔧 Responsibilities:

Conduct root cause analysis and systematic troubleshooting of complex process issues
Support machine installations and commissioning, both locally and abroad
Interface directly with customers to communicate findings and ensure resolution
Collaborate with senior engineers in Bochum for technical support and escalation
Accompany tools internationally for extended periods to ensure successful deployment

👤 Requirements:

Degree or formal training in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering
3+ years of professional experience in troubleshooting and resolving machinery issues
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
Fluent in English; German is highly beneficial
