First Line Engineer

Job Title: 1st Line Engineer - Laptop Deployment
Location: Lewisham, London (Onsite - 5 days per week)
Rate: £200 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: Contract - Initial Term

Overview:
We are looking for multiple 1st Line Engineers to support a high-volume laptop deployment project in Lewisham. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced rollout initiative as part of a collaborative and supportive IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deployment of laptops to end users, including configuration and setup.
• Providing 1st line support to resolve basic IT issues during deployment.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Escalating complex issues to 2nd line support where necessary.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in 1st line IT support or device deployment
• Good working knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and basic networking
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to support users with varying levels of technical understanding.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Windows 11
• Understanding of ITIL best practices
