iO Associates is partnered with an innovative aerospace client who is seeking a Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) Engineer to join their team. In this role, you'll work on cutting-edge aircraft projects, defining the FTI solutions and flight test installations.

This Munich-based client can provide visa sponsorship for suitable candidate.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1.5 years of professional experience with Flight Test Instrumentation
• Some knowledge (either professional or academic) of aircraft design
• Knowledge of measurement and sensor technology is required
• Systems or flight background required
• Professional working level in English

Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 1.5 years of professional experience with Flight Test Instrumentation
• Definition of flight test instrumentation (FTI) solutions and flight test installations
• Preparation of installation drawings and wiring diagrams for FTI installations
• Coordinating FTI design, procurement and mechanical integration
• Configuration and programming of the Data Acquisition System (DAS)
• Management of sensors calibration due date
• Preparing required documentation for FTI system
• Technical cooperation with suppliers
• Supporting integration of FTI equipment into the prototype aircraft, including manufacturing/production tasks when necessary
• Reporting of project status, and impact on the aircraft design changes
