Front-End Developer (React.js) / Contract / Hybrid / Bristol or Walsall /£ 450-£650 p/d
One of my clients is an ongoing transformation. We are launching a brand-new Digital Product function to help us create a best-in-class member experience, supported with increased investment and a structured programme of activities to accelerate our digital strategy.

About the role
Front-End Developer (React.js) to join the Digital Development Team.
You can expect to support and architect the enhancement and refactoring of the user interface of the browser-based interfaces, undertaking activities in scrum / agile to build and deliver solutions for our customers across all web platforms. There will be multiple projects running at one time, so will be required to achieve tight deadlines and work with the Senior Front-End Developers to ensure budgets are being met and project time scales are being adhered to.

• Form a vital part of our front-end team and support creating an environment of collaboration, support and fun to ensure both the team and the business enjoy working together.
• Work with the senior developers to deliver the highest quality of work and complete projects within sprint timeframes.
• Always implementing best practices, delivering internal communications, and trialling new tools and approaches.
• Create coding in collaboration with our backend developers to provide test activities to the test team in-line with agreed sprint cycles for deployment and digital releases.
• Assist in developing procedures to help deliver high performance through promotional and tactical offers to increase company revenue.
• Risk identification and documentation of code and content to help the wider team share knowledge efficiently and to maintain governance and version control in line with company policies and procedures

Skills & Experience

• Three years' minimum commercial experience in front-end web development
• Experience using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Angular or React and CMC templating.
• Knowledge of building large-scale sites, as well as modifying legacy code.
• Knowledge of CMS integration and customisation.
• You have public cloud experience, preferably Azure.
• Mobile App development experience is preferred.
• You have experience Unit testing across code.
• You can work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and time-sensitive work environment.
• You are highly experienced in building responsive digital interfaces.
• You demonstrate a passion for emerging technologies.
• You have a good understanding of agile software development and methodologies.
• You are highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects to achieve deadlines.
• You have great communication skills.
