Head of Global Networks

Location: UK (with travel to Farnborough)

Salary: Up to £120k + benefits and bonus

We are working with a global technology business who are hiring a Global Head of Networks to join their team. You will be working directly with the Global Head of IT Operations to define the team structure, networks and hand on implementation and design for all Global offices.

The role can be worked remotely with occasional travel to Farnborough and will also involve occasional travel to Europe and the US.

The business builds a number of products used by consumers across the globe and the network infrastructure and architecture is key to its continued success.

This could be an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to make the next step in their career, moving from UK lead to Global lead and enjoys remaining hands-on whilst also defining strategy and architecture.

The business are looking for individuals with experience in;

• Design, Architecture & Deployment of Networks.
• Sourcing and vendor negotiations and management.
• Experience of defining Physical and Cloud Networks.
• Experience of security procedures and networks including
• Managing - Extreme switches, Fortinet and performance.
• Knowledge of AWS, VMWare, K8S and EKS would be beneficial.
