GoldenGate Data Engineer
Boston MA (Hybrid) 2 days onsite
Duration: 6 months contract
We are hiring a GoldenGate Data Engineer for a leading technology consulting firm specializing in database management and data migration solutions.
We are looking for an independent contractor to join a database engineering and production support project involving GoldenGate replication, coming from various source data platforms.
Ideally, this contractor will take on an Engineer or Architect role, being hands on with scripting (Python or Shell). The hours are full time, 40 hours per week across 6+ months, and the end client is located in Boston (seeking someone who is able to visit onsite twice per week.)
Top Skills:
- Golden Gate replication (with postgres as a source and multi-target (Oracle, Postgres, Redshift, Databricks)
- Strong UNIX skills
- Strong scripting skills (shell ok, but python is preferred)
- Oracle/pl SQL skills
- Cloudformation template skills - AWS
