My client a family run FMCG business are looking for a Group Technical Manager to lead their technical team.
Despite being family run they have their eyes firmly on the future and have invested heavily in state-of-the-art technology meaning you will be given the tools to make a real difference and stay ahead of the competition.
In this role you will be concentrating on the continuous improvement of quality and food safety processes across all sites by leading the technical team to ensure standards are maintained and improved.
You will also be the key technical contact for all customers and represent the business at committee meetings meaning you will be further enhancing your customer facing and communication skills as well.
They have sites across the North of England and as well in the Midlands, so are flexible on location and the candidate can be based out of any of the 7 sites which are commutable from Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, York, and Northamptonshire areas.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Experience and knowledge of BRC, similar 3rd party, and customer standards
- Experience in a supervisory or management role within an operations environment
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Possess strategic ability and desire to be hands-on
- Experience with Bakery ingredients and their production
In return you will receive a salary up to £60,000 dependant on experience along with a company car, private medical and 25 days holiday.
