iO are partnered with a leading global consultancy within the Engineering Sectors (Defence, Security, Aerospace & Energy). Currently on the lookout for multiple Hazards Engineers at varying levels of seniority.

As a Hazards Engineer for this business, you will be working within safety critical industries and delivering solutions you highly complex technical problems, mentoring more Jr colleagues and helping build strong teams of technical specialists within the nuclear industry.

Role responsibilities:

Lead internal and external hazard assessments, from high-profile safety cases to detailed analyses of fire, flooding, or seismic risks.
Develop innovative solutions, such as assessing meteorological hazards for the UK nuclear fleet.
Collaborate with diverse clients across nuclear new build, defence, and generation projects, tackling complex technical challenges.
Contribute to a global technical community, working in multidisciplinary teams and sharing expertise.
Mentor and support junior engineers while building leadership skills and strengthening project delivery capability.
