Head of IT Infrastructure | Thames Valley

Duties will include:

• Reporting to senior management, you will be taking the lead on the groups' IT Infrastructure ensuring the business can deliver to expecting goals and targets within its technology road-map.
• Oversee the transition of IT Infrastructure which will align the groups businesses.
• Liaise with 3rd party suppliers.
• Manage strategic planning and managing change.
• Supporting multiple UK sites and strategic leaders.
• Ensuring the group is in a position to support an increased volume of staff working from home (Long term).
• Identifying and implementing process improvements.

Key requirements

• Excellent stakeholder management experience, with the capability to form and maintain relationships with a wide range of internal and external customers and colleagues.
• Previous experience managing IT Infrastructure projects, ideally within a large scale organisation.
• Demonstrable people management experience including coaching, mentoring and developing colleagues.
• Effective at building internal networks and able to collaborate with a diverse range of people from different parts of the organisation.
• Proven developed leadership qualities.
• Proven experience in delivering projects within a large organisation cover the following technologies: Windows Server, Office 365, Active Directory, Desktop Operating Systems, Virtualisation technologies (VMware preferred), Cloud hosting (Azure preferred), Cisco Networking and Unified Communications and knowledge of IT Security fundamentals.
• Experience of planning and implementing systems and network integrations and cloud migrations.
