Position: Head of Operations

Location: REMOTE (U.S.-based, with flexible hours for cross-team collaboration)

Role Overview: As the Head of Operations for the US and Canada, you will be pivotal in managing data onboarding, premium, and cash management for our specialty underwriters. Reporting to the Global Head of Service Delivery, you will collaborate closely with various teams, ensuring data quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the operations team, aligning operational goals with the company's vision and objectives.

Work Allocation & Management: Prioritize and manage operations tasks, recruit and develop Operations Managers, and support strategic processes and projects.

Data Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for complex data requirements, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

Member Onboarding: Manage due diligence, onboarding procedures, and reconcile financial transactions for new and expanding members.

Operations Management: Oversee operational procedures, ensure KPI compliance, and foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
  • Insurance qualifications.
  • 5+ years of experience in property & casualty insurance, preferably in the specialty market.
  • Proven experience in managing MGA operations.
  • In-depth, hands-on experience with Bordereaux management and processing.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
