Head Of Product

As Head of Product, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall strategy for the IAL Product and Powertrain portfolio. This includes identifying opportunities to expand or enhance the product offering, defining the vision for the product, gathering and prioritizing product requirements, and collaborating with various teams (such as Design, Engineering, Homologation, and Programme Management) to develop and launch compelling products that align with the business vision, brand positioning, and customer needs.

In this role, you will also be responsible for product and powertrain cycle planning, including overall market analysis and lifecycle volume planning. You will provide direction for approved programs, including setting product positioning and attribute targets, determining options and accessories offerings, and managing the lifecycle of live vehicle programs to optimize the product offering, respond to changes in the market, and enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be responsible for the marketing and commercial launch of all products.

To be successful in this role, we are seeking a candidate with a qualification in Engineering or Product Design, extensive experience in product or marketing within an automotive OEM headquarters, and pan-European or global experience. You should also have proven experience working as a product manager in a non-managerial role, the ability to work cross-functionally as part of an OEM product development program, and demonstrated knowledge in developing brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicating recommendations to executive management. You should also have experience managing substantial budgets and coordinating agencies to successfully complete multiple projects.
