Head of Technology Operations

100% remote (offices in London and Bristol if you ever fancy popping in)

£160,000 - £180,000 plus 10% bonus and benefits

iO is currently partnering with the #1 fastest growing tech company in the UK and they are looking for a Head of Technology Business Operations to join them on a permanent basis

They are storming ahead of the traditional banks in a specific area of banking; their core product is a cloud-based platform which allows any third party to get access to the full UK clearing system through an API plugin, which is an infrastructure that allows for payments in real-time.

Their aim is to become the dominant underlying platform used for clearing by all financial institutions, including the high street giants - and they are already succeeding in that, having received £175M in funding for their global expansion into Europe, USA and APAC.

As Head of Technology Business Operations, you would take accountability platforms and tools introduced to the business, the enterprise architecture of the implementation and would work closely with the Product team to identify opportunities to optimise processes within current systems.

The role requires a passionate person who can manage challenging priorities and remove confusion by leveraging data and business insights. The ability to be customer focused and innovative while bringing stakeholders on the journey and helping shape the strategic direction of the business.

You will be instrumental in the continued growth of one the best and most innovative companies in the UK.

They are looking for you to have experience in the following:

  • Enterprise architecture understanding
  • Experience leading technology teams in a cloud environment
  • Full ownership of the software delivery lifecycle
  • Able to take business problems and work independently and/or delegate to solve these.
  • Using best practice to improve products/services or processes
  • Delivering software in a regulated/controlled environment
  • Experience Defining policies and embedding them
  • Experience working in a Global IT team
  • Rollout of self service capabilities such as Low-Code solutions or data self service.
