Job Title: Hybrid Civil Engineer (Multiple UK Locations)
Contract Type: Initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extensions
Locations: Flexible - Opportunities available across Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff, and Birmingham

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a talented Civil Engineer to join one of the UK's leading engineering consultancies on a temporary basis. This is a flexible location role with options to be based in any of the client's key regional offices across the UK, offering the benefit of a hybrid working model.

The successful candidate will work on a wide range of exciting and complex building design and infrastructure projects, contributing to national and international schemes. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering practical, sustainable, and innovative engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of small to medium infrastructure and building design projects.
Design in accordance with UK codes and standards (including drainage, utilities, access roads, pavements, and logistics)
Collaborate across multiple disciplines and regions.
Comply with BIM standards and contribute to the Digital Plan of Work
Manage your own workload effectively within project timelines.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or HND with equivalent experience
Working towards ICE Chartership
Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (Revit/BIM 360 experience desirable)
Understanding of UK design standards
Previous experience in the buildings sector preferred.
