Infrastructure engineer

Infrastructure Engineer - Bristol - 6-Months - £550 a day (OUTSIDE IR35)

iO Associates are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our client based in Bristol for an initial 6-month contract role offering up to £500 a day (OUTSIDE IR35) for a March start (can be flexible on start date). The client is looking for someone to start before the end of March in which you need to be onsite in Bristol.

We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who has strong experience with Cloud, Server infrastructure and Security technologies, Microsoft stack (e.g. AD, Windows Servers and Group Policy), VMWare, Networking tools (e.g. Firewalls, routing and switching and SD-WAN) and Intune / SCCM. You must have strong experience working on projects with the tech listed above - this is not a junior role.

You must have experience with the following:

• Must be an experienced Infrastructure Engineer
• Good knowledge of IT network, cloud and server infrastructure including security, architecture, and optimisation
• Microsoft server stack (Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, Certificate Services, NPS)
• Data centre virtualisation, servers, storage and networking (VMware and HPE)
• Virtual Desktops (Citrix, RDS, FSLogix, WVD/AVD)
• Microsoft Cloud services (Azure IaaS and M365 suite including Sharepoint and AzureAD P1 and P2)
• End user device management (Intune and SCCM)
