IT Engineer

iO Associates are working with a reputable Financial Services company in Newport who are on the lookout for an IT Engineer.

This IT Engineer will be responsible for the full infrastructure project lifecycle, and will build, deploy and maintain the environment.

This role is set to grow and evolve, with huge progression opportunities. It could be a great fit for someone with experience in IT Support who is looking to develop into an Infrastructure Engineer role.

Role: IT Engineer

Location: Newport

Salary: £32,500 - £35,000

This role will involve working with:

• Office 365
• Windows servers
• Azure
• Basic networking

Any cloud experience would be hugely beneficial for this role.

The day to day of this role will involve a mixture of project and BAU work. This large organisation have a number of large projects for you to get your teeth into!

This company have a huge focus on training and development with lots of flexibility depending on your areas of interest. Commonly within the team, individuals learn CI/ CD processes, advanced networking, Docker, Kubernetes and scripting.
