IT Service Desk Manager - Rotherham - FTC - Immediate Start

I am currently recruiting for an IT Service Manager to work for a Public Sector organisation based in the Rotherham area. This is an initial 3-Month FTC but for the right candidate can become a permanent position. The salary for this position ins £45,000 per year.

The IT Service Desk Manager will be required to provide line management and leadership of the IT Service Desk and 2nd Line Support teams. You will have to ensure the It Customer Service is delivering consistent high standards. Your day-to-day duties will vary, and you will be required to be both proactive and reactive.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Prior experience working as a Service Desk Manager
  • Be a strong communicator and able to liaise with other departments
  • Support staff and colleagues in their development within the organisation
  • Maintain a culture that has high standards within the team
