IT System Administrator

We are looking to recruit an IT System Administrator to join our IT Team at a pivotal time for the business, with exciting projects and further growth forthcoming.

The successful candidate will provide support with IT system design, implementation, and general support. This role is a mixture of BAU and Project work so you will be expected to help with all aspects of the role.

** Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance **

Role: IT System Administrator

Salary: Highly competitive

Location: Bristol - Remote for the time being due to Government restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Responding to general IT support requests

• Ensuring infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available

• Training staff on newly installed systems on laptops, phones etc

• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks

• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports

• Supporting the management of classified data systems and processes

• Contribute to implementing cyber and information security best practices

• Network engineering and troubleshooting, data cabling and systems administration

• Maintaining software and hardware environments.

Experience

• Experience with Windows & Microsoft platforms E.G. Windows servers, SQL Server, Office 365, SharePoint Online

• Administering on premise infrastructure including VMWare, switching/routing, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Backup Management, Virtulisation,

• Hands on experience in supporting network devices such as switches and/or firewalls.

• Any Security knowledge would be advantageous.
