Title: Perm Java Developer
Work Type: Hybrid (3 days per week)

One of the companies offering software solutions for human capital management (HCM) that are cloud-based (software as a service). They are a leading worldwide supplier of technological solutions, analytics, know-how, and services that support businesses of all sizes in creating and fostering work environments driven by employee appreciation and crowdsourcing feedback.
They are looking for a hands-on Java Developer to work in a hybrid setting 2-3 days per week in Dublin and has free parking on site. In this role you'll be directly involved in transition of microservices based architecture and provide practical support to stream-aligned Product Engineering teams as they transition to a services-based architecture and to serve as a knowledge base for the larger Technology organization.
Responsibilities:
- You'll contribute to the team's development standards by developing in line with best practices in UX and software engineering.
- Be a part of daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning and backlog refinement meetings with our technology teams (Dev, Automated QA, Product).
- Work cross functional and collaborate with the DevOps and Architecture teams to transition to a continuous deployment model.
Skills:
- More than three years of experience developing corporate applications using Java, Spring, microservices, and SQL and REST API design patterns.
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., ECS, ECR, Lambda functions, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, AWS Batch, Cloudwatch...)
Technologies: Java 8 and 17, Python, Spring, RESTful APIs, Terraform, Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Gitlab CI/CD, Git, Docker/Containerization, Apache Kafka, AWS, ActiveMQ, Oracle DB, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, JMeter.
