Junior UX/UI Designer

Role: Junior UX/UI Designer

Location: Bristol/Home based (Hybrid approach)

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 + private medical, life insurance, flexible working, 27 days holiday, pension contributions, annual training budget & more!

iO Associates are working with a rapidly growing, global IT company who are looking for a Junior UX/UI Designer to join them on a permanent basis

We're working with a well-established company operating in the finance domain that provides solutions by using the most advanced technologies, both helping their customers with their digital strategies and post-trade operations. Over 60 of the worlds Top 100 banks rely on their next generation technologies, being leaders within their field

You will work report to the Senior UX/UI Designer, learning from him and taking on knowledge from the experienced team around you. They are looking for someone who is obsessive over pixel-perfect details, knowledgeable about working within design systems, has excellent UX/Figma/Sketch skills and a passion for design and user experience. They are looking for a team player whose eyes are set on becoming an expert in UI design and UX research within the Fintech industry

What they are looking for:

• Good understanding of common UX patterns
• Understanding of working within a design system and design principles
• Designing for scale
• Proficient in Figma, with good knowledge of shared libraries and styles
• Understanding of design needs within enterprise-level applications
• Good understanding of HTML/SCSS, JavaScript, responsive layouts
• Familiarity with Angular
• UX Research skills
