iO Associates has teamed up with a global leader serving diverse industries including energy generation, water distribution, surface transport, aviation, retail, and environmental sectors like agriculture to recruit a Land Biogeochemical Modeller

In this role, you will contribute to a large-scale international experiment project within the Earth System and Mitigation Science (ESMS) team, which aims to better understand and quantify how forests respond to increasing atmospheric CO2 concentrations.

Required:

• Active SC Clearance

• Conduct and evaluate experiments to determine how vegetation's reaction to CO2 affects current and future regional carbon sinks and ecosystems.
• Knowledge and ability to run land models, preferably JULES-based setups
• Knowledge and experience of climate model data.
