Lead Developer - Remote - £65,000

iO Associates are looking for a Lead Developer to join a company based in Wokingham, Berkshire. They are an established, industry-leading business with multiple SaaS products which is used by their multinational, blue chips clients including Microsoft, Sky and Vodafone.

This is an excellent opportunity where you are required to be in the office only twice a month, so if you live further away and happy to travel to Wokingham for biweekly catchups, then this role is for you.

As a Lead Developer, you will be responsible for a diverse team of developers, testers, UX and data engineers. This is a hands-on role where 50% of your time will be spent on software development with rest on team management and working with product owners & higher leadership team to make sure everything is running smoothly.

To be successful in this role you will have -

• Strong technical experience of .Net core, Angular, SQL Server, Azure (function, PaaS....), producing high-standard code assets
• Experience working in a product-based environment (SaaS)
• Desire to be involved in developing and within Artificial intelligence
• Experience as a Senior or lead developer

This role will suit someone who is currently working a Lead Developer and looking for a fresh challenge or a Senior Developer who has been responsible for mentoring, training and overlooking a team of developers in their current role, but never had an opportunity to work officially as a lead developer and now they are ready to take on extra responsibility.
