iO Associates have a new opportunity for a Lead DevOps Engineer to transform the platform of one of the UK's leading financial institutions.
This hands-on role will have some managerial responsibilities and ensure the reliability, security, performance and availability of the cloud services and platforms.
Role: Lead DevOps Engineer
Location: Central London (with some WFH)
Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 + benefits
The Lead Platform Engineer will play a key role to ensure a highly functional cloud environment.
A large focus of this role will be to update Terraform modules and on-board to the new platform.
This role will involve working with:
- GCP
- Terraform
- Linux - RHEL/ CentOS/ Debian
- Gitlab
- CI/CD
- ITSM
- Networking
Essential criteria:
- Strong Terraform expertise using IaC
- Strong cloud platform experience - ideally in Google Cloud (GCP)
- Excellent Github knowledge
- Solid containerisation experience
- Technically astute, with a strong personality
