Lead Front End Developer

Role: Lead Front End Developer

Location: South West UK/ Remote

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 negotiable

An early stage start-up that has developed a cloud-based knowledge sharing, content collaboration and secure delivery platform is looking for a Lead Front End Developer to on board as their first full time development hire.

As a front end technical expert, you will be responsible for guiding the front-end tech. Your strong front-end development experience with a keen eye for UI/UX design will make you perfect for this role.

You will also assist in growing the team in the near future, with clear plans to grow a development team of 5 exceptional developers in place, leading and mentoring where required so any experience with this will be fantastic!

• At least 5 years of front-end and/or back-end software development experience
• Expertise in VueJS, Angular and JavaScript; plus, experience in some of the following areas: Java, Spring, Spring Security, distributed architecture, SOA, Microservices, API Design, SQL, Relational Database Design, Bootstrap, React
• Additional "nice to have" hands-on knowledge in - SAML2, Perl, C++, Scripting, Solr, MySQL, OpenID, Cloud (AWS/Azure)

The company has been in existence since 2016 with employees and contractors based in Bermuda, Canada, India, the United Kingdom, and United States. The plan is now to build out a centre of excellence development team based out of the UK, with 'offices' being based in South Wales, but work being fully remote.
