IO Associates are proud to be working with a Defence, Technology and Aerospace company working on a range of technologies for both military and civilian applications. With six subsidiaries and two joint ventures, they are engaged in a range of defence programmes in the UK.

What we're looking for;

Due to recent success securing multiple new contracts, they now require talented individuals to join us on this exciting journey.


They are looking to hire a Project Controls specialist that is looking for a new challenge and interested in joining our growing PMO function on the delivery of cutting edge technologies for the UK MoD.

They are looking for individuals with experience of working within a PMO as a project controller or planner either within defence or commercially and with experience of project scheduling or project risk management.

You will be part of a PMO that is responsible for the delivery of a number of technical programmes for the UK MoD across Land, Sea and Air. Working directly with the programme directors and programme managers for these deliviries they are looking for individuals who are excited by keeping programmes on schedule and to budget and take pride in engaging in project start-up and meticulous planning of project controls in MS Projects or other planning suites.

Your day to day responsibilities will differ project to project and we're looking for a dynamic individual who enjoys the challenge of being hands on across all areas of the PMO and is able to report and engage with key stakeholders to ensure a smooth delivery.

You will be responsible for;

  • Acting as liaison with the Prime programme delivery consultants

  • Managing Programme Baseline change management process

  • Auditing and recording change requests

  • Maintaining status of the baseline schedule

  • Running the monthly programme reporting rhythm

  • Creating, managing and updating project plans and schedules in MS Projects

  • Risk Analysis and Mitigation
