Lead QA - £60k - Warrington (Option of fully remote)

ioassociates are working with a well-funded, and extremely exciting Marketing and sales start-up company based in Warrington (but option for remote). Provides the option to join a very talented and ambitious team, creating the test department. Responsibilities include:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
• CI process implementation (GitHub Actions/ Jenkins)
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Liaise with internal teams (developers and product managers) to identify system

Requirements:

• Experience in devising comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience with automated testing tools
• Experience working in an Agile development process
• Degree level qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Comprehensive knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
• The ability to manage time and work independently and within a team
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Python (Java and C++ also desirable)
