Based in a beautiful region on the UK's South Coast, is the multi-award winning research and development facility of one of the worlds best innovators.

The company spans countless industries worldwide, this particular facility focusses on improving the efficiency of our transport systems. They are working on solutions that will ease the flow of traffic, saving the country billions in lost time (as well as significant stress!). On top of that, they are hell bent on reducing the emissions caused by the traffic on our roads.

They need an engineer to join and lead the team currently migrating a legacy C++ system onto the cloud. It is a multidisciplined SCRUM team that have access to all the latest modern tools to get the job done.

This is an opportunity to not only work on the latest technology in a cutting edge facility with a talented engineering team, it is a role that will allow you to work on innovative and tech-for-good products helping people all across the country, as well as our environment.

Skill requirements:

* Object oriented C++ at an expert level.
* Experience working in fully agile teams
* Ideally some experience deploying microservices to the AWS Cloud.

The company are happy for this role to be a hybrid remote model of working, a 2 or 3 days in the office approach is more than acceptable.
