Week 1: 5am-1:30pm | Week 2: 1:30pm-10pm

My client is a manufacturer looking for an electrically biased maintenance engineerto join their gorwing team. They are predicting a huge year with the path out of lockdown finally being paved so not a bad time to get on board really.

The Role:

• Effective reactive, preventive and corrective maintenance of production/utility equipment and systems that provide essential services for site production.
• Perform routine equipment checks and respond to equipment remedial & breakdowns.
• Participate in the development of the preventive maintenance programme and work to a maintenance schedule.
• Work with mechanical/electrical engineers to maintain the site to a safe and reliable standard

What they want from you:

• Willing to do shifts at peak times (shifts can be anywhere between 5am-10pm)
• FMCG preferable.
• Can work well within a busy team with a respect for H&S
• An understanding of production needs being primary
• Basic refrigeration knowledge would be useful
• Experience with depositing equipment, conveyor belts, cooling tunnels would be useful
• Willingness to be proactive, reliable and conscientious, with a can-do attitude essential.
• Open do working additional hrs (inc. occasional Saturday) as and when production needs require it.
