iO associates are proud to be partnered with FibreCoat, a specialist materials Scale-Up, who are looking for a Maintenance Technician to work at their HQ in Aachen.

FibreCoat are at the forefront of technology innovation in their industry, and provide their customers with specially produced materials that can be used in a diverse range of applications. This role focuses on the continued operation and maintenance of lab-scale production machinery.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in machine maintenance in a heavy manufacturing or process manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical background and hands-on skills are essential.
• Able to adapt quickly to evolving R&D requirements.
• Professional working level in English
• Minimum level of B1 in German

Nice to have:

• Any experience in fibre spinning is highly beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities:

• Operating and maintaining a lab-scale production machinery.
• Troubleshooting, breakdown repair, and routine maintenance of machinery in the lab.
• Preparing the line according to the parameters of various research experiments
