iO Associates are currently seeking a MAIT Process Engineer for an initial 6-month contract in Stevenage which is likely to extend as part of a new programme of long-term work.

The role will be centred on the support to the Operations & Manufacturing Teams within MAIT working on the next generation of Space & Satellite Technology.

Ideally the client is looking for a background within the Space/Aerospace sector, however, will consider applicants who have experience working on high tech solutions within an automotive or critical safety industry.

Key skills required:

• Mechanical & Electrical design / manufacturing / validation / experience
• Lean manufacturing techniques including 5S, root cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Process and Quality driven approach with high attention to detail
• Procedures and process control

Please note you will need to be able to obtain SC Clearance for this role.
