Manufacturing Engineer

Up to £45,000 per annum Plus Benefits

iO Associates is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to work with leading provider of high-tech electromechanical systems for the semiconductor industry.

You will be reporting to the Manufacturing Systems Team Lead, join a team of manufacturing engineers in a manual assembly production facility, with products involving a mix of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic assembly. You will be responsible for the manufacturing system within the allocated manufacturing cell.

Key Responsibilities:

Document, implement, own and continuously improve the manufacturing cell.
Implement and maintain risk assessments for allocated manufacturing cell.
Elimination of routing and material variances with the allocated manufacturing cell.
Ensure configuration control of operational documentation in compliance to current regulations in terms of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.

Skills:

Equivalent experience in a comparable role (3-5 years).
Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering degree.
Familiar with continuous improvement, 5S, lean, 5Whys, Six Sigma, RCA, PFMEA.
Understands engineering drawings, schematics and diagrams.
Technical knowledge including mechanical, electrical and pneumatics
