Maritime Combat Systems Engineer | Bristol | 12 Month Contract | £450-500 per day OUTSIDE IR35

Are you looking to transition from active service in the Royal Navy? Or perhaps you've already moved into the commercial sector and looking for a new challenge?

iO Associates are working in exclusive partnership with Elbit Systems, in the recruitment of a Royal Navy Combat System SME.

Elbit Systems in the UK are a Defence, Technology and Aerospace company working on a range of technologies for both military and civilian applications.

You will be working with a team of experienced and talented individuals across multiple disciplines and in an organisation that has the benefit of a global presence with plenty of growth opportunity.

Due to substantial growth, and thus multiple contracts/projects successfully won, we are seeking ex Royal Navy Chief Petty Officers, Warrant Officers or Artificers to join the company and provide specialist knowledge in surface vessel Electronic Warfare and Combat System management.

Day to day you be will the go-to technical expert, advising on requirements, diagnosing, and maintaining EW systems which are later due to be released into the Royal Navy.

To be considered, you will have:

  • Current/active Security Clearance (SC)
  • Extensive above-water Royal Navy Systems experience
  • Excellent communication skills, ensuring effective communication across teams, disciplines, and stakeholders
  • Previous experience developing and integrating sub-systems.
