Are you an ambitious and experienced Materials / Process Engineer? Are you looking to join a cutting edge engineering firm spearheading the latest technology? Our client, a truly exciting name at the forefront of the aerospace sector, are currently looking for a Materials and Process Engineer with a background in metallic structures to set-up and support new programs and test plans.


Your Day to Day:

Focus is on writing and supporting M&P specifications for metallic processing and structural applications, including machining, joining, and heat treatments

  • Responsible for supporting the M&P team with support for metallic structure, including expert guidance in materials selection and specification development
  • Provide engineering expertise for general machining techniques, joining techniques, and corrosion protection
  • Support various program needs, which include design failure mode and effect analysis, root cause and corrective action analyses


Your Profile:

  • Degree in mechanical-, aerospace-, chemical-, materials engineering or similar (Ph.D./ M. Sc. preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years working in an aerospace M&P (materials and process) certification environment
  • Experience in defining material test standards and statistical design allowable development is a must
  • Experience with casting and/or forging material and process is a plus
  • Highly energetic personality is desirable, with a goal-oriented working style and demonstrated analytical problem solving skills


Duration: 5 months
Working hours: Normally 40 hours/week, this may vary depending on the department
Working On-site is preferred, remote working is possible
